By Wallingford Pub... - Posted on 31 July 2012

Wednesday, August 8th at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room

Master wildlife conservator Deborah Dombek will discuss the natural history and biology of black bears in Connecticut. The many recent sightings of black bears in Connecticut have led to increased public interest in bear population and habitat. Ms. Dombek’s presentation will provide practical information on coexisting with black bears, including what to do if you encounter one. Bear pelt, skull, tracks and scat samples will be available for the public to view. Questions will be taken at the conclusion of the presentation.
